How It Works and What Help at Home Costs

From request to proposal: how the HELPERG team reviews your request, what determines the price and how to tell whether an offer is right for you.

How it works

Four steps — and every decision stays with you.

  1. Send your request

Create an account, confirm your email and tell us what kind of help you need — for yourself or a family member.

  2. We talk it through

Our team reviews your request and reaches out the way you prefer to go over any open questions.

  3. You get a proposal

With the tasks, schedule and price. If we can’t help where you live, we’ll tell you plainly.

  4. You decide

Nothing is arranged until you explicitly accept the proposal. Until then, there’s no cost.

What affects the price

We don’t publish flat rates, because every situation is different. You’ll see your price in the proposal — before you decide anything.

Sending a request is free.

How to choose help at home

Whether you choose us or another provider, get clear, written answers to these questions before the first visit.

About payment: we don’t bill Medicare, Medicaid or long-term care insurance. Help arranged through GMedAC Care is private pay.

  • Exactly which tasks are included — and which are not.
  • Who will come, and who your regular point of contact is.
  • How often, how long and at what times someone will be there.
  • How the price is calculated, including travel or mileage.
  • How to reschedule or cancel a visit.
  • What insurance covers damage or accidents.
  • Whether the provider holds any license your state requires for the help you need.

Tell us what you need.

It’s free, and you’re not committing to anything.
